Gilding is a decorative technique for applying a very thin coating of gold over surfaces such as metal, wood, porcelain, or stone this process can also be applied to fabrics.

Whilst gold paint may be used to brand awnings, where quality is paramount, there is no alternative to the use of genuine 24 carat Gold Leaf which will retain its lustre for the life of the awning.
